Industriales de la Marina, SIMA PERU S.A. one of Peru's leading
companies which specializes in the construction of merchant and fishing
vessels of any type up to 48,000 dwt. SIMA PERU S.A. is also involved in
vessel repair, maintenance, steel structure constructions, specialized
electronic systems and the manufacture of light weapons.
SIMA PERU S.A. operates shipyards located in Callao and
Chimbote on the Pacific Ocean and at Iquitos located on the Amazon River, which
provides greater versatility and allows for the newbuild, and repair of a
variety of vessel types up to 48,000 dwt.

one of the leading industries in Peru. Along with experience is highly
skilled and dedicated workforce that offers good delivery and competitive rates

THE SHIPYARDS
SIMA CALLAO
The largest shipyard, with facilities for high tonnage
shipbuilding and repairs. The shipyard is located along Peru's Pacific coast at
the port of Callao, 14 km from the country's capital city of Lima.
- Shipyard for the construction of large merchant vessels of up to 48,000
dwt.
- Dry dock for repairs of vessels of up to 25,000 dwt.
- Three floating docks with lifting capacity between 1,900 to 4,500 tons.
- Manufacture of steel structures.
- More than 40 workshops for marine and industrial repair work
SIMA IQUITOS
The shipyard is located on the Amazon River, on the Nanay River an afluent of
the Amazon River. The shipyard is set for the construction and repair of river
vessels as well as the capacity for the fabrication of steel structures for
fluvial ports, petroleum platforms, etc.
SIMA CHIMBOTE
The shipyard is engaged in the construction and repair of small vessels up to
1200 dwt. The shipyard is located in Chimbote, Peru's main fishing port, located
some 440 km from the country's capital of Lima.
SIMA ELECTRONICA
This is SIMA's specialized electronic production facility. The facility
employs highly skilled engineers and technicians that develop and produce a
variety of electronic and computer systems, sonar's, radars, communication and
automatic control systems.
